Elizabeth Bagby is Director of Business Development at the McBrayer law firm, with offices in Lexington, Louisville, Frankfort, Greenup and Washington, D.C.

Ms. Bagby graduated from Emory University and began her career at Alltech in 1997 as a brand manager for two of the company’s top brands. In 2000, she spent a year working at Alltech’s European headquarters in Dunboyne, Ireland, and worked on brand campaigns for Alltech’s offices in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Africa.

Beginning in 2004, Ms. Bagby spent five years as Alltech’s North America Marketing Manager, during which time she was voted “Most Valuable Player” by the Alltech North American team (2006). Transitioning to Alltech’s newly created consumer brands division in 2010 as Alltech prepared for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ in Kentucky, Ms. Bagby embraced the new challenge of marketing direct-to-consumer products, which already included Alltech’s Kentucky Ale® family of beers and added during her tenure two new spirit brands: Bluegrass Sundown® bourbon-infused coffee liqueur and Pearse Lyons Reserve® malt whisky, and a farm-to-fork natural beef called Lyons Farm®.  From 2013-2016, Ms. Bagby acted as Corporate Marketing Manager for Alltech, a role that allowed her to focus on delivering innovation and thought leadership through Alltech’s marketing communications.

In August 2016, Ms. Bagby joined the McBrayer law firm. The McBrayer team is committed to providing affordable, quality legal counsel and to community involvement, and Ms. Bagby is proud to be part of a team that is so active in the community.

Ms. Bagby served on the board of the Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center from 2009-2012 and is currently a board member for AthensWest Theatre Company, a group dedicated to producing intimate, dynamic and compelling professional theatre in Central Kentucky. She is also serving as Chair of the Lexington 4th of July Festival in 2017.
