President, Kentucky Coal Association
Tyler White currently serves as the President of the Kentucky Coal Association. Prior to the Kentucky Coal Association Tyler served as the District Director for Congressman Andy Barr and oversaw all operations and personnel in the Sixth Congressional District Office. Before joining Congressman Barr, Tyler served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004-2012. As an infantryman, Tyler served deployments to Fallujah and Ramadi, Iraq. After his first enlistment he served as an instructor at Officers Candidates School in Quantico, VA before being selected as a team leader for a psychological operations team. Tyler deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 leading a small team in support of 2nd and 3rd Reconnaissance Battalions. After eight years of service in the USMC, Tyler returned to Kentucky to complete his bachelor’s degree at the University of Kentucky. Tyler is currently finishing his Master’s Degree from the Harvard Extension School in Cambridge Massachusetts. He is married to his wife Austen and has three daughters.
